QuikStor Express Requirements
If your computer operated the QuikStor demo version, then it will run QuikStor Express. For complete technical requirements and any other specifications, please contact your QuikStor representative at 800-321-1987.
Minimum Requirements:
For access control, physical serial port COM #1 must be free and active in both the BIOS and in Windows and virtual COM #3 must be unused.
Microsoft Windows Vista Compatibility
QuikStor has evaluated the new Microsoft Windows Vista operating system and our testing verifies that our QuikStor Express software is compatible, however using Vista is not recommended. It may introduce unnecessary complications.
In addition most PC's do not meet the minimum requirements for Vista unless they were purchased in the last few months. Dell offers a Windows XP option for Small Business customers due to overwhelming demand. If you purchase a new PC we encourage you to request the Windows XP operating system. Dell will continue to offer this option until January 2008.
Customers who have QuikStor hardware and software who are considering upgrading to Vista we ask that you contact QuikStor Technical Support at 800-321-1987 or your QuikStor representative for information regarding compatibility.
